Automatic washing system at SRS are equipped with a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) housed in a NEMA 4X enclosure. The user interface prompts the operator through comprehensive menus to set up a WASH, RINSE and PURGE cycle and allows the PLC to operate the system automatically, while displaying current status information.
The PLC monitors a series of sensors and contacts to verify proper grounding, closed door or container security and other safety parameters, before starting the cycle.
Fault conditions are diagnosed and clearly displayed, to ensure operator safety and ease of operation. The unit is systematically shut down in a fail safe mode in the event of a fault condition or at the end of the cycle.

Air, nitrogen or CO2 purge system to remove vapors from enclosed areas

Extensive grounding practices, stainless steel and non-sparking aluminum are used throughout the system for optimal safety when working with flammable solvents
