The SRS Engineering, Corp. Engineering, Corp., Solvent Recovery System distills and condenses solvents, thinners and cleaners. This unique, affordable system will recover approximately 90% of the original batch volume for reuse, significantly reducing new solvent purchases as well as the volume of dirty solvents and/or solids to be disposed of.
How does the system work ?
Dirty solvent is added to the Teflon-lined tank, and the stainless steel lid is replaced and clamped down. As the microprocessor-controlled thermostat raises the temperature above the boiling point of the solvent being recovered, the solvent vaporizes into a gaseous state through the insulated exhaust tube into the air-cooled condenser where it is condensed into a reusable solvent. The remaining solids in the still bottom can then be removed for disposal and the system is ready to process the next batch.
