While creating a custom press parts wash system for a client, SRS Engineering, Corp. designed a parts cart to hold multiple stations of press parts in the vertical position

This provides maximum number of parts, plus an improvement in the quality of washing, improved drying of the parts and a shorter cleaning cycle. The cart contains strategically placed nozzles, both wash and rinse, fed by high pressure, multi-stage pumps.

In addition, oscillating headers on the side walls and ceiling of the stainless steel wash chamber add to the cleaning effect of the system. A separate high pressure, multi-stage pump supplied wash solution to the headers.

When used in a closed loop configuration with an SRS Automatic distillation system and a dual function solvent tank, as shown, the MW-washers offer optimal versatility, safety and efficiency in press parts cleaning applications.
