Typically 28" web width or less. Used for label and specialty packaging. Water and solvent based inks. Cleaning done off press.

PW-5 WASH SYSTEM. Stainless steel cabinet with a 36" x 36" parts rack. Washes, rinses and exhausts within a sealed wash chamber. Uses detergent, solvent or Alternative solvents. Closed loop includes tanks, filtration or distillation units. Capacity up to eight stations, dependent upon part size. Vertical stacking available dependent upon height restrictions.
WIDE WEB:
Web width grater than 28". Used for labels, flexible packaging, point of sale packaging and publication. Both Flexo and Gravure presses used.

ON PRESS WASHING:
On press flushing of ink pans and enclosed doctor blades, whether original equipment or retro-fit, generates waste solvent. As much as 6 gallons per station or deck, per color change is generated.

SRH-DISTILLATION SYSTEM. With a stainless steel, 60 degree cone vessel, scraped heating surface, internal hot oil heat, RDT temperature sensing of vapor, oil and sludge. SRS provides the most efficient and safe means of waste minimization. The flushing solutions can be recovered for re-use for an energy cost of 3-4 cents per gallon. A closed loop design includes tanks and interface with the press flush system. |
