The cleaning of press parts from a flexographic printing press is typically done in one of two methods:

OFF PRESS CLEANING; where the contaminated press parts are removed from the press (pans, doctor blade holders ink pots etc.) and cleaned within an enclosed parts washer. SRS has wash systems design for both narrow web and wide web presses. Wash chambers from 36" x 36" x 24" high to 96" x 144" x 96" high.

ENCLOSED DOCTOR BLADE FLUSH SYSTEMS; either retro-fit, after market systems or as part of the new press design. In this design SRS offers automatic delivery of clean wash solution to the press wash system and return of spent wash solution from the press. Clean and dirty tanks are supplied with a high output distillation unit interfaced for recovery of the wash solution. These delivery systems include automatic valves and intergraded control through the systems PLC.

In addition, SRS supplies a Flexo wash system for ink pots and secondary pans. These unit come with a 36" x 36" x 24" high or a 36" x 62" x 24" high wash chamber. Custom sizes are always available.
